Gorjana Scarf - $57
The light, airy, and totally whimsical canary scarf is the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe. We love the neutral gray paired with a pop of hot pink neon that's sure to keep you on trend all season long.
This scarf is pretty, but it isn't the type of scarf I would have bought for myself. Some of the other scarves on the Gorjana website are more my style than this one, but chances are I'll keep this one once I figure out how to wear it. It seems more like a spring scarf than fall though to me. Am I the only one who thinks this? I'm happy FabFitFun included a coupon for $25 off the Gorjana site though! I already used it to purchase a midi ring. All I had to pay was shipping. :)
Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Cleansing Foam - $28
The refreshing liquid-to-foam formula delivers oxygen along with super-powered vitamin C, while hydrating and gently washing away makeup and impurities. Tired skin will be left looking bright and revitalized.
My Bliss cleanser was missing in my original box, but it arrived by the weekend, so I didn't have to wait very long. I love facial cleansing products, so I was happy to see this in the box. I've always wanted to try the Bliss brand as well. FabFitFun also included a coupon for $25 off a triple oxygen facial at bliss spa. Unfortunately the closest spa location is in Chicago, which is a 6 hour + drive, so chances are I won't be using it.
Barr3 Standing Slim DVD and online program - $19.95
In this 30-minute DVD, barre3 founder Sadie Lincoln pulls together her go-to moves for fast body-shaping results. Members also get a one-month promo code to access over 100 barre3 online workouts - all designed to give you flat abs, toned legs, and a tighter tush - anywhere, anytime.
This probably was my favorite item in the box! I've been trying to work out more this past year and I love to have some at-home workouts for the days I don't feel like going to the gym. I've heard a lot about barre workouts and I've always wanted to try one. I love that it's not extremely hard to do and they also included free access to her online videos for a month as well.
Starlooks 5 shade Shadow Palette in Casa Blanca - $41
Each uber-glam palette combination contains a fab base color, corner/crease color, contour color, and liner color! Specifically themed by Starlooks pro artists, the unique combos contain brilliant matte, sparkle, and satin shadows that create perf for day and nighttime looks!
I don't necessarily need any new eyeshadow, but I'm happy that I received one of the neutral palettes. I do think I would have preferred Ibiza or Copenhagen though as I use more browns than black. I'm not really a color person when it comes to eyeshadow. FabFitFun also included an advertisement for 15% off Starlook's FabFitFun signature set which includes lengthening mascara, clear eye primer, and a iDome shadow brush for $42.50. I have plenty of makeup, so I won't be purchasing, but if you're interested, check it out!
Orville Redenbacher Popcorn Classic Butter and Sea Salt - $3 approx
Satisfy the snack attack with Orville's healthy and delish new microwave popcorn line. 100% whole grain, gluten-free, and half the fat of regular popcorn, this tasty treat is a perfect guilt-free indulgence.
This is probably the item I was least excited about. If I wanted microwave popcorn, I'd stop at my local grocery store. I also tend to avoid microwave popcorn. Between popcorn lung and lack of regulations regarding labels on food products, I'd rather pop my own kernels on the stove. Then I know what ingredients are actually in it and personally I think it tastes better too.
Health Warrior Chia Bar in Apple Cinnamon - $1.57 approx
As the only bar on the market with the super-powerful super food chia seeds as the primary ingredient, these bars are all-natural, vegan, dairy- and soy- free and have no more than 110 calories each. Enter "VIP15" at HealthWarrior.com to get 15% off your next purchase, valid through October.
I ate this bar already and it was good. I might purchase more in the future if I see them, but I won't go out of my way to find them.
Mini Game Packs
Featuring hilarious, family-friendly content from the award-winning board games Loaded Questions and Awkward Family Photos, these mini game packs are must-try.
I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't think Awkward Family Photos is that funny? I'll give this mini game pack a shot though.
Surface Trinity Protein Cream - $26
This top-rated "blowout" cream instantly smooths, strengthens, and protects hair, without any harsh chemicals. Named as one of Allure's fave hair care products, the must-try uber-luxe hair treatment features organic, antioxidant-rich amaranth and babassu oil that help mend split ends and fight frizz.
I'm all for beauty and hair products, so I'm looking forward to trying this product out.
SpaRitual Lacquer in Spice of Life - $12
Fall into beautiful, rich color this season with a striking polish from SpaRitual. Free of DBP, formaldehyde, and toluene, the 100% vegan lacquer has been carefully hand-blended for superior shine, fast dry time, and coverage. And, we are loving the signature brush designed for precise application.
I don't need anymore nail polish thanks to all my subscriptions, but I love red polish and this color is perfect for the upcoming holidays. It's also a brand I've never tried before and I love trying new brands.
Drinkwel Samples (2 pack) - $2.95
Replenish lost nutrients, support liver health, and help your body process alcohol toxins with the first multivitamin created for health-conscious drinkers. Loaded with antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and a proprietary superfruits & botanicals blend, this is not your typical multivitamin.
I have a Halloween party to attend tomorrow, so I plan on using these tomorrow. We'll see how well they work.
|Coupons, Stickers and Bright Pink Info Card|
Bright Pink's Brighten UP Card and Alert Sticker
Small enough to fit in your purse, this quick start guide to being Bright Pink includes 5 ways to be Bright Pink and 5 questions every young woman should ask her doctor. Be sure to bring the Brighten Up card along to your next doctor's appointment.
I tried texting PINK to 59227 to get reminders for breast exams, etc., but I haven't received any messages yet, so I'm not sure how well that works. I also tried to take the risk assessment online, but I found myself having a hard time since I'm adopted and there weren't "I don't know" options for family history questions. For the same reason I didn't find the Brighten UP card to be very helpful for me. Due to my lack of family history and my adoptive family's severe breast cancer history, both myself and my primary care doctor have been proactive in my health. I already had a lump severe enough to have a biopsy and I'm only 23.
For this reason, I'm glad FabFitFun provided this type of information for their subscribers. So many of my friends think they're too young to worry about checking for lumps, but as I found out myself, you're never too young and I hope the information helps others.
Overall this box had a value of approx $191.47. That's higher than the $175 they promised! I enjoyed this box and I can't wait to see what they have in store for winter. My only wish is that they include a couple more seasonal items. I love seasonal items. :)
